    KIND OF ASIAN ; Sometimes white folks in the U.S. are mystified by the heritage of nonwhite people. Particularly Asians, of course. Japan, Korea, China … the list of possibilities goes on and on. Yes, we’re kidding, to make a point about ignorance. And that's the spark of this painfully funny video from writer/director Ken Tanaka, part of YouTube's Comedy Week extravaganza. We could delve deeper into the stereotypes, the racial profiling, the psychosocial implications inherent in the overall thematic relevance of the subject matter, but the guffaw payoff would be slim. So just watch the thing.
